COMPARISONS
‘Make a photographic book in which you compare
men/women with food/drinks. Text is allowed.’
I handed in different books. Here are two spreads from my first one.
(This is more comparing living animals with meat-ready-to-eat.)
Some inspiration-giving movies our teachers gave us:
La grande Bouffe (1973)
The Belly of an architect (1987)
Eat Drink Man Woman (1994)

Out of a list of Rules Of Typography we had to choose one and make a poster that explained the rule.
I chose a quote by David Kindersley:
“By good spacing I mean, quite simply, that each letter should appear to be exactly in the centre between its two neighbours.
To me this is the only criterion, and I do not believe that it requires any further justification.”
I handed in two posters, both in black & white to emphasise the typography.
I didn’t want any images to take away the attention form the typo.

Every year there is an exhibition related to Graphic Design,
in ‘De Vooruit’ in Ghent: Bold Italic.
We had a one-day-assignment: make a poster for the event.
Some of the posters were shown at the event, including mine.
